-NGK wideband
-Pioneer head unit+Bluetooth audio/steering wheel control module installed.
-(4) Alpine Type-R coaxial speakers (door/sail panel)

Fuel system:
-Genuine Ford Greentop 42lb injectors
-Delphi fuel sending unit
-Racetronix 255LPH fuel pump

Known issue:
-Because the rear end was replaced with a 98' without traction control, the ABS INOP, Brake, and Service Vehicle lights are activated, causing the ABS to be turned off. Braking is still strong and consistent. No check engine lights are active.
-front bumper could use repainting

The vehicle was meticulously maintained by myself and my tuner, who worked at East Side Service: Wallingford, CT. The car is very strong and safely revs past 7,000 RPMs. No rust and paint is in great condition for its age. The front bumper could use reprinting. Otherwise it's a solid car. Over $30,000 invested

I worked in Wallingford, CT for 19 years (1989-2007). My sister has lived there for 30+ years. Nice town. And welcome to LS1Tech.com.

With 188K miles and that extensive list of mods I'm clueless as to what the value is. You'd know better than anyone having been the one to modify it. $30K into a 188K mile car is not seen very often....unless that includes buying the car for $10K-$15K. Looks nice as the miles don't show up in those pics. Repainted? I'm assuming the crank bearings/pistons have 188K miles on them. Somewhat similar in performance (or better) as the 2000 Berger SS. You've come close to rebuilding the entire car...for the better. A very specialized modified packaged. I could have seen myself buying this car 5 years ago - at the right price.

As a comparison, I value my 2 owner 1999 SS M6 with 18K miles at around $12,000-$12,500. Your car is no doubt worth more, but how much more? A 1 owner, 2002 SS M6 with 10K miles is probably worth $15K-$15,500 today. That might bound what your car could bring. And you'd need a cash buyer as well. Connecticut isn't the strongest market for these even if they are not very plentiful. I found my car in the Waterbury, CT area.

For what you have into it, I'd just drive the pants off the thing. You probably have Z06 performance at an F Body price. Your car must have made some track runs. Any ETs?

Highly modified cars can be tough to sell to begin with; a highly modified car with almost 200k on the clock is going to be even harder to sell for a decent price. You would probably come out ahead by stripping off what you can, like the $4200 wheels, and selling them separately. Also, wait until spring when the market picks back up before you try to sell it.

SLPZ28ProStyle,

Sharp car, I really like the clean tasteful look - outstanding for a 188,000 mile car. Especially a mod'd 4th Gen.

Several years ago I tried to sell my one owner 154,000 mile heads, cam, intake 99 T/A with a roughly similar mod list with 4.10 gears etc - I had four offers in the $6,500 range that all fell through. Folks could honestly never get past the 150,000 + miles (and 120,000 of that with the heads and cam package).

Your car has nicer paint with much nicer wheels and has a much higher eye candy factor in its favor. Yet I think selling may prove slow and frustrating. I know you car is really worth ~$15,000 with the sweet wheels but it will be very hard to find that buyer. I suggest family heirloom for that sweet Z28

I decide to keep my 99 TA. New 8.8 rear end, RPM Magnum Level 6, and a custom 416 later its a family keeper now and I have no regrets. My stepson wants the car and eventually one day the TA will probably be his.

$7-8K, I would recommend keeping it, or sell the wheels separately and what ever else is easy prior to selling.
