2000 Modded WS6
So here is the car. Not sure what she's worth. I have been driving to and from the inspection station each year and someone else should be driving it.
Basics:
- 2000 Silver WS6 (45K)
- Single/Original owner
- Bogart Dragstars Front/Rear
- WS6 Rims/Wheels (new rears; never driven; fronts almost new)
Engine:
- TSP 231/237
- Patriot Stage 2 5.3 Heads
- ASP Pulley
- ASP Alt Overdrive Pulley
- Racetronix Fuel Pump
- 28.5LB injectors
- 160 t-stat
Exhaust/Intake:
- Lid / FTRA / LS6 Intake
- Corsa catback with premium tips (6" chrome tips; not sure they even make these anymore)
- FLP Longtube headers
- Custom Y with twin cutouts
- Normal FLP Y (on car now)
Suspension:
- 6 point cage
- BMR boxed subframes
- BMR shock tower brace
- BMR lower control arms
- BMR adjustable panhard rod
- Spohn Rear Sway
- Spohn Torque Arm
- Poly Motor Mounts
Transmission/Driveline:
- Built TH400 (reverse manual valve body) (manual shifts required)
- 4K stall
- Moser 9" / 35 spline / 3.73/ Spool
- Custom Cheetah Ratchet Shifter Installed (looks like I ordered it)
Sound System:
- Eclipse Head Unit
- Front Kicker components mounted in doors
- Rear 2 12" Kicker Subs
- Eclipse Amp running the fronts
- Kicker Amp running subs in Molded box
- Capacitors etc.
Misc:
- NX Kit Wet Kit (heater, mounts, purge, custom panel)
- FJO Nitrous DualStage Controller (wot + tps)
- LineLock
- Shift Light
- Kirkey Aluminum Racing Seats and harnesses
- Have AC components but not in car
- 485/515 - 11.01@122
I was thinking 11-12 for the whole lot. Any opinions?

If the car were just a stock 45K miles, it would be worth around the $12K mark. So it comes down to if the mods add or subtract value. You could spend $18K-$20K or more to build a similar drag car, or just buy this one. The car is so specialized that potential buyers will be very scarce no matter what the price. I think your price is in the ball park. Can't raise your price once you've set it. So maybe start a little higher? $12,500? $13,000?

I think you are 'in the ballpark' but are there many buyers that want to lay out $10k cash on a gamble that the car isn't going to be a money pit? I'm sure there are, and you will have to find one, but we all know mechanically modded cars are a serious risk to buy because the possibility exists that the car was abused, whether real or imagined. It doesn't matter, the thought is there (how many 1/4 mile trips has this car seen??) and a sale is never easy unless you get lucky.
Good luck with the sale. Let's hope a buyer is looking for exactly what you have.
