Hey guys. So a guy I know is wanting to buy an old LQ4 I had laying around. It came out of a ‘06 2500 truck. Has 180XXX on it. Reason it was taken out was it had developed a slight lifter tick. Id planned on making a 408 but that was 6 years ago and still sitting in crate. What would be a fair price to ask for it? Bare Long block. No intake or accessories.

$500 would be a starting point. I see in my area LQ4/9 with intake no accessories go for 6-700. Maybe high ball him bc he's def not gonna pay you exactly what you're asking
