Should I start the motor?
I didn't know where to post this but I have a 2000 ls1 motor I swapped into my 94 Camaro. After driving for a little while, I parked it in a family member pole barn. I never intended this to be long-term but it has now been 4-5 years. The body has very high mileage and I decided I want to part it out. For selling the motor, is it better to start the engine to prove it runs (after ensuring it manually spins and pulling the plugs to lube cylinders) or should I sell as-is with the intention of the buyer disassembling the motor to go through it?
Also, it has roughly 100,000 and has f-body accessories, how much should I list it at?
Thanks!

How many stories have we heard about where a car has been put away for many years and the ad states "Ran when it was stored". That is code for BS in many people's minds (actually thinking engine trouble or not running). Don't fall into that camp when selling. If it runs well, boast about it. If something is wrong, be honest. Good luck!!
