Default 1999 Pontiac trans am

Ive had this car just about 20yrs. i bought it in 2002,, im the 2nd owner. It pewter met in color and has about 87,000 miles. Its been sitting in storage for a while, last driven in Nov 2021 ,it started and ran great.
Ive been struggling on what to do with it.The values seem to be going up lately, so im just putting a feel on what it maybe worth. It has raptor hood, TTM wheels , whisper lid, SLP loudmouth exhaust.

It's tough to price these now with the 'hot' used car market plus the F-body increase in general. This past summer I posted a thread (see below) about a Car & Driver feature. I also posted in the Firebird section about recent Mecum prices. You are definitely mid-teens for sure if the car is in truly 'good' or better condition with a clean title.

Well, it's not 2022 anymore and the market has recently begun to cool. I just brought this up in another thread as well; the leading edge of pricing on most of the "special interest" cars (all but the most collectible of them) is definitely trending downward. I see that, in my region anyway (Great Lakes, and even the greater midwest in general), the 4th gens that are still carrying the price bloat of 2021-22 have been sitting for months now. Even the dealers have been cutting some of the bloat out of their prices to get these cars to move. And it's not just the 4th gen F-bodies, I'm seeing this with the older dinosaur cars too as I'm always semi-in-the-market for those.

With that in mind, I don't think anything in the $20s is realistic, in the most current market, based on the mileage and details described above. Assuming you definitely want to sell the car, I think mid-teens is probably going to be the cap for something like this - or at least that's what I'd expect in my region.

If you are in the same 87,000 miles neighborhood, I agree about mid-teens for sure. If you have hit 6 figures on the odometer or have other repair issues, perhaps low teens. There is always that 'mental' image about cars with over 100k miles. It's just the way it is to many buyers. GLWS!!!

I'd start at 16.5 and see what you get for interest. It's tax season and I know that $$ burns holes in ppls pockets. If you don't really want to get rid of it then you can hold there for a while and I'm sure the right buyer would come along.
