ls1 engine price these days? Have a pull out from an 01 z28 I parted out with 80k on the dial. it ran and i drove it into the garage no smoke but its been setting in the garage sealed up. I intended to install it in my second gen, but ended up with a l92 for a good price.
Since I intended on installing it had done a few things, like swap to some holley satin black valve covers, pulled the stock crank, and took off all the accessories. Still have the intake and Tb and MAF and all the sensors. Whats it worth these days?

On ebay folks seem to still ask $3,500 to $4,500 for intact LS1's over 100,000 miles or more
Example...
^^^That seems high since a new iron block GM Crate 6.0 with 24x reluctor and a warranty is about $5,200

Sorry typo, crank pulley is removed. Internals left alone. Planned to dress it up so figured I didn't need the stock one
So 2500 isn't unreasonable based on that?

Seems like a reasonable place to start to me.
There will probably be a fair number of folks that say "but I can get an iron block 6.0 take out for $2,800 etc" that will try and beat down the price etc.
