Is this deal worth it?

Local guy has 4.8 LS in his garage listed for $120 CDN. which is like $90usd.

Cant really lose either way for that price.
I'm planning to swap a fox body Thunderbird or another gbody once I find a good base car.

I'm literally starting at zero and was looking for a complete motor with accessories, harness, ecu, and gas pedal but found this.

Is this worth my trouble? I figured it wouldn't hurt to get as spare parts.

I would do that all day. I’d expect to refresh bearings and what now maybe have a machine shop sonic check the block. But even if it’s junk you’re only out $100 USD. A good bare block is 400 USD on the used market so I say go for it.
