Default Sell complete or part out?

I have 2 2000 Camaros that I currently have advertised as for sale as rollers. I am pulling the engine and trans from both for some other projects. Both are 3.8 automatic cars. One has a title and one does not. I am picking them up from a friends salvage yard.

Is there much of a market for parts from these cars? I would rather sell complete, but I understand they are not too desirable. I have them listed for $1500 for both.

I hope me considering parting them doesn’t offend anyone.

You could get more parting them out, but those are both good candidates for race cars.

Does $1500 sound fair for both as rollers?

The one without the title is solid, the one with a title has some rust.

Might get more parting, but then you have to deal with multiple people, disassembly labor (you do “pay” yourself at least something don’t you? ) and shipping.

I think the price is fine, just no one seems to be spending money at the moment… no matter how good the deal.

you are right, this is a bad time to sell “toys”.
