Default Looking at buying first fbody ss

Im looking at this 2001 camaro ss it has 14.5k miles and is very clean but has had 4 owners and has subframe connecters and makes a thud noise when shifting is that common on fbodys its not load I as thinking a bad rear trans mount? also sub frames on a car thats never been raced I dont see a reason for it she wont take less then 17K I offerd 16k it has no rare slp options only exhaust and grill whats it worth? http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ice=&cardist=4
Also the KBB on the car is around 14K for privite party seller and 16.3k for dealer I know thats a lil low but is the car worth that much more? it will cost me 18k after tax the original wheels and tire do not come with the car

I think 17K is to much for it. I say more like 15K at best!

why do you say that others go for around 16k with those miles not arguing just trying to get some ideas why this is worth less? or is the market for a under 20k miles ss around 15k?

I am not really sure what would be considered a good deal either but there was one I was looking that had 15xxx miles and they were asking $15500 it was an 01 SS m6 stock but states it had slp 18 inch zr1 so not sure if they were different wheels or what cause as far as I knew, i thought they were only option as 17".

um.. i think 17k isnt out of the picture for a low mile 01 ss like that- and being a stick car- if u have 17k in a car with that low of miles- your ahead of alot of guys on here - who wished they had a low mile ss.. also - the hard bang noise- does it have an aftermarket torque arm? i would get it up on a rack and check before buying it - and seeing there are other issues.. but 17k isnt bad at all!

from looking around here its an ok deal but its not great but i didnt check the torque arm its possible but Im shying away from the car because of the amount of owners and the noise if im spending 17k I wanna know what im getting for sure it has sub frames which worry me
