Default Stripped WS6 Rims complete!

Took me about 3 hours to do all four rims... Came out super... Nice and shiny, now just have to keep the damn things polished.

Yep left the tires on... Just jacked the front up, pulled the front two, stripped em both at the same time, polished them, reinstalled, then the same for the back... All together probably 2.5-3 hours, just depends on how good of shape the clear coats in... It looks like, for whatever reason my front right wheel is newer than the others, well that one took a little longer. It took 3 coats of stripper, as opposed to the rest of the wheels taking 2.

Looks good. Have fun keeping up the shine. I hated having polished wheels...which is why i traded for chrome. They look awesome when fully polished, but the upkeep sucked - and i never really drove the car

I was just thinking.... I thought your style wheels were chromed, not polished. And the newer style WS6 wheels were the polished w/ clear coat wheels...

Looks awesome! I did the same thing to a set I used to have. Upkeep isn't that bad really if you slap a coat of wax on and stay on top of them. And you can't beat it as a $15 upgrade!

They look so much better without the clear. We have a set done like that.
