WTF michelin??

WTF michelin?? make a long story short driving home in the rain a few months ago. 55mph on highay big puddle couldnt avoid it= hydroplane= 360= slap nose of car in wall 
estimate is around 2400 for nose, right fender, clear corners, parts and labor. anyway love DR's in dry, hate in rain. i want to get new tires before i fix the car so this doesnt happen again before i get the new tires.
i go to discount tire and try to order up some michelin pilot sport 315's and no one has any around. so they see if michelin has em and they dont have any. i email michelin and ask when are they going to make some more and they say they arnt sure.
what the hell is going on? my car is unfortunately an every day driver and i rains so damn much in texas im stuck driving like 35 mph on the highway when it rains. any other tire co.'s out there that make a good dry/wet 315. help please
