Default New Wheels. A little different though

Well I got an offer for my polished ZR-1 that I couldn't pass up yesterday and I decided to go for it. Traded my Zr-1's and my LS1 Intake for a set of 98 C5 black powder coated wheels and an LS6 Intake. At first I didn't think the wheels would look as good but now I think it looks better. It offsets my NBM color nicely. Now all I need to do is Shade my tail lights and side markers, and paint my calipers.

So tell me what you think. Sorry for the pic quality. It was raining and the rims are a little dirty from the drive home

I kinda like the look of them on this my main reasoning was for the LS6 intake, plus my wheels had alot of curb rash from the previous owner.

2001 style slave cylinder. They refined it to be a little stronger starting 2001 but it'll bolt up exactly the same. You may want to do the drill mod as well.

There actually the same thing. Technically its listed as an LS2 flywheel but I'm pretty sure they're the exact same flywheel.

I always thought that was an unpopular style Vette wheel but that powder coat really helps. I think window tint would complete your look nicely.

Nice ride man, congrats!

Yeah most people swap them out. About the only reason I initially did it was for the LS6 intake but I like them after seeing them on the car.

I've never been too much of a fan...although I do remember some guy on here put vinyl triangles in the indent of the wagon wheels. It made them look far much better.

I unfortunately do not have any pictures.

Tint the hatch glass w/5%, and door glass w/30%-20% I'm not a big fan of those wheels, but in black they definitely look a lot better! IMO, black wheels look good on the NBM!

Is the powder a gloss black? I'll be coating my wagon wheels next month. Those look good on there, but some new pics with clean wheels would be interesting, might change people's mind.

Yeah they're a gloss black. I didn't have time to really clean them yesterday plus it was raining. I'll try and get a couple new pictures as soon as it gets sunny out.

The shop out here has a simulation black-chrome powder that I'm looking at, and a mirror-gloss black as well, can't make up my mind. Looking forward to seeing new pictures.
