installed TT2 wheels but have couple of issues
Wheels : Front 17X9.5 Back 17X11 on regular street tires. Ok so today i took the car out for a "spirited" drive and have noticed a few really annoying issues. First of all, when i start in 1st gear and gun it there is a severe wheel hop to the point where my whole dash, shifter, seats feel like they will fly off.... extreme vibration inside.... also, when i took it on the freeway, my steering wheel was shaking at speeds beyond 50 mph...
i had some wheel hop on my stockies before, but nothing that extreme
So any solution to my so called issues???? i really dont want to go back to stock lol....
Here are few pis: Before

get some lca relocation brackets that should help with the wheel hop. you didnt have it before because the smaller tires would spin worse. sounds like you might have a slipped belt in one of those tires

Tires being used is going to be a big problem there. You can only get them so good once they are worn, especially installed on another set of wheels.
I think you're whee hop is because you are getting more traction with a wider tire than your stock 16s. LCA brackets will help but if you still feel it then take it easy, that's the best way to break stuff.

Vibrations, one of two things . . .
1. Bad balancing job, or wieghts fell off, during driving. Re balance front wheels.
2. Since "used" tires . . . the tire could be bad, a belt, breaking down . . . etc. New Tires.
Wheel hop.
Is due to now having more tread on the ground, you get better traction, so instead of spin line your old smae tires, they hop.
One of two solutions:
1. Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets. You can "tune" the slope if the lower control arm, which can reduce wheel hop.
2. If the Relocation Brackets don't 100% solve it, an Adjustable Torque Arm would be next.

I'm putting my bet on them just being out of balance. Usually when putting on a set of tires on rims I would drive them and put about 100 miles on them to make sure they seat in right, then have them rebalanced.
Hopefully that is all the case is man. And even though they are new wheels, they could have defects. I ordered some 17x9.5 TTII from AR for a guy and got two wheels that were cracked. They switched them out no problem, but I'm just sayin.

Yeah check the balance job on the front tires( maybe have them road force balanced at your local dealer). as for the wheel hop----make more power so they just spin---- but really the new tires are way bigger then the stock 245 that came on ur car.
