How often do you have to polish like that? Every week if you drive them every day in all weather conditions, which is why the wheels on my car haven't seen a single drop of rain in about a year and a half. They stay much cleaner and are much easier to take care of on a non-daily driver.

Yes indeed about polishing aluminum wheels are a lot easier to clean on a non-daily driving car. My wheels have only seen rain once I think, and I was on the way to pick it up from a friend's house after getting my Kooks LT's & ORY installed. It was a pain in the butt to clean after being in the rain, but I dried them off right after I got home! Other than that my rims has only seen water while washing them I think and hand dried them right after I was done cleaning them!

And MeentSS02, I think your car made me want to get the CCW SP500's when I saw it on your fquick garage. Do you still have one?

And you definitely can't go wrong buying CCW's! I can never stop smiling and get excited every time I look at my car with CCW's on it! I think my next car which will most likely be a '69 Camaro RS/SS are going to have some CCW's on it. CCW's are

CCW's on a DD = failure, or massive forearm muscles.

these wheels look better than diamonds look to a woman when they're cleaned up, but God help you if it's even humid outside and someone looks at them with their mouth open...ruined, right there on the spot.

....well they aren't THAT bad, but once you get them perfect, you pretty much don't want to drive the car unless it's sunny and dry out.

I don't still have FQuick, but I can assure you I still have the car Finally took it down for the winter yesterday, so it won't be going anywhere until next spring, so maybe I'll get a chance to get the wheels cleaned up...

The last time I spoke with the gang at CCW, they were recommending "Blue Magic" polish. I've used it with pretty good results.

I used to use the "original" aluminum polish, Simichrome with really good results. However, in this "flavor of the month" society we now live in, I haven't seen Simichrome in a store in about 30 years. I bought a tube of it to use on the aluminum "5 slots" I had on my '71 Chevelle SS.

i honestly don't know. you SHOULD be able to. i got this from a local wheel/tire store. he said they were given it to "try out." not sure what that means exactly, but i would imagine you could find it at an auto parts store.

Never seen that polish in stores. It looks like it does pretty good, it might be worth ordering some. BTW, nice wheels, I'm not a fan of the 19s/20s on Camaros either.

The product in the picture is American Racing's product. "Blue Magic" is something else entirely. I purchased my jar of Blue Magic at the local Advance Auto Parts store. They also had a product called "Nano-something or other", and I also tried that. It worked pretty well too.

I can't see the picture of the can because I'm at work but when I polish my Classics I user Neverdull to get any spots off and any tough spots. Then when I'm done with that I use a Powerball with Mother's Billet polish(the more expensive small jar) and buff until they shine nicely. I have to be motivated to polish my wheels. I usually do it over a week span because I get bored real quick.

that's exactly how i am. my CCW's look great now as they are, but "if i feel motivated" i'm going to hit them with a latex glove with mother's billet polish on it, that's what works well for me anyway when the wheels are already clean and shiny.
