ha like i said on the first page not happening, i cant justify spending thousands on wheels alone, im happy with gm or gm replica wheels. id rather spend money somewhere else on the car, im either going to keep mine or trade for black zr1's, if i cant find a trade im considering selling the wheels only and just buying a set of black zr1's from tomzwheelz.

do you think 500-550 would be fair for the wheels only if i were to sell them? what do you think will look better the black or my current chrome zr1's?

honestly im not to much into black wheels so i would just keep the chrome zr1's and call it a day, but thats me. I think the black zr1's will look good on your ride though especially if you were to add a lil more black in other places (ie headlights, signals, etc)

I don't know why I can't vote yet, but my vote would go for the black powdercoated 10 spoke! And make it in a flat black + berger panel in flat or semi-gloss

jrob why don't you remove the tires on your wheels and get your wheels stripped then powder coated black. If I had the money, I would've bought those wheels from you a long time ago.

Well first I think stripping these would be a crime since they are in such good shape! Im pretty sure it wouldnt really be cost effective when black 17x9 and 11 are only 419+75 shipping from tomzwheelz. The car is in storage till march at the earliest so I have plenty of time to sell them and for some reason when I put my ZR1s up so did a billion other people. I still think I have the nicest set of 9 and 11s in chrome for sale, but I can wait it out eventually ill get a buyer if I dont Ill keep them till I do. Let me know when you have the money, start saving and pm me

I know you don't have it as an option. But, have you thought about maybe getting some black deep dish C5 Y2k's? They're only a little more than black ZR1's, and look a lot better IMO. Only problem would be that you'd have to get new tires for the rears, since they're 18x10.5 instead of 17x11. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...1%7C240%3A1318

ya those look real good and i need new rear tires anyway, but i want to stay away from 18's cuz tires cost a lot more and i like to run drag radials. I dont think the staggered thing looks that good on our cars either. Now if they have a 17' all around with a 10.5 or 11 in the back then im game.

ill be shopping around a little if i ever sell my wheels but i want to stay 17 with a 10.5 or 11 in the rear for sure which limits my options somewhat...

I think the 17's are only available in 9.5" wide. It would be really nice if they did make them in 17x11, with that deep of a lip too. Then, I would be forced to get rid of my ZR1's for the chrome deep dish C5's.

haha everyone says that, there are some better pics of her actually...but ya if i could do exactly what I wanted and had the money id widen the rears of some 10 spokes and powdercoat them gloss back maybe with a red pinstripe as well i dont know if that would be too much red though. i just love the look of dumped duals(coming in spring) and 315's so ill be staying with atleast a 10.5 inch rim

Yea^ That's my favorite look too. I've got the dumps I just need to widen a pair of rims for those 315s. Check out the attachment, its not my car, but it looks good!
