I was using a Canon 17-55 wide angle lens with image stabilization on that shot. Set the shutter speed at 1/20th of a second for quicker speeds, 1/15th of a second for speeds under 40 mph. Yes, it takes two vehicles and three people to get that shot. Camera man rides passenger in the front car, snaps pics leaning out the window.

Both cars have identical tires and sizes. 285-19 fronts, 345-20 rears. They hook better than stock run-flat crap tires, but not nearly as good as a set of sticky drag radials. I'm pretty decent at controlling spin with the throttle though. The Viper is easier to launch, it has hardly any gearing in the rear. The Z06 is lighter in the ***, it likes to spin the tires more from a stop.

I like the stock Spider wheels too, but I like having a different looking vehicle than all the others even more.
