All of your questions can easily be found by just using the search function...

However, to answer your questions, yes, Tomzwheels is a great company to order from. The majority of guys on this site go through them for the factory reproduction wheels such as the Z06 and ZR1 style wheels.

As far as the drag radials go you've got a few to choose from. All have their tradeoffs and strongpoints. Since the car is mostly daily driven I would recommend something with a long treadlife and that can remain stable in wet/slippery conditons. This quickly rules out both the Mickey Thompson's and the Hoosiers. Nittos do not bite nearly as hard as do the MT's or the Hoosiers but they have an oustanding treadlife as well as wet handling traction.

Nittos will hook well and will give you in the area of 15k miles, if you aren't roasting tires around every corner. I haven't been the easiest on mine, and I've still got a decent amount of treadlife left with 8-9k already on them.

I wouldn't do that on an 18x10.5" wheel. I went with 305/35/18 nitto DR on my 18x10.5. Nittos run narrow compared to other tires and 40 is also very tall, especially if you plan on lowering the car.
