broke a wheel stud Well i broke a wheel stud, thinking about going to the auto shop where i had my car fixed and strangling everyone who used an air ratchet on it.
Any help, thought about getting some ARP Studs, how hard is it to replace, have done it on my old mustang but never my Z.

Re: broke a wheel stud damn, went buy autozone before i posted and no go, thought maybe thunder for some arp's usualy get here in 2-3 days from them. Thank god i just bought my truck or i'd be screwed.

As for replacing them - they are simple both front and rear. I suggest the ARP studs as they still allow you to use your lug caps if you want.
To replace the fronts, take the rotor off and just knock the old one out and pull the new one in by using a lug and some washers and pull through until its all the way in.
For the rears - just take out the ABS sensor, line up the stud, and hammer the old ones out. Put the new one in and pull through just as before.
EASY.

Re: broke a wheel stud well got them for a buck at autozone, had to chase them down, first person i asked about 4 studs and he freaked, told me i was crazy, then a few others were like, "What, i have a broken wheel stud and have driven it for half a year like that." I just got worried about it, as most do.
