TT II wheel idea

I want to keep the lip and cap polished but bead/sand blast the spokes to a matte or stain finish. Sorta like you would see on some Fiske FM/5s

What do you guys think?

Dont' ruin the wheels, ship them to me and I'll send you back some gunmetal zr1s with a polished lip, we'll call it even.

Just hit the spokes with a scotch brite pad or steel wool.

what is that a polished finished with machined spokes? might look cool, but ttII's are curved so it might look weird.

I think it could look good if it was done properly. Though I'm not sure how to do that at all.

I don't think sandblasting aluminum is recommended. I have seen aluminum that has been glass bead blasted and it comes out with a nice even finish although it looks slightly "grayer" than a satin finish.
