Getting Hoosier QTP 28x11.5x16 To Fit?? Ok I bought some used Hoosier QTP 28x11.5x16 tires on rims and I put them on my trans am just to check clearance and everything before actually using them and I only have about an inch on the inside and between my fender well sides. I do not want to run them yet since they will grow and rub not my mention more than likely tear up my rear bumper. What all is required to make them fit on a 98 Trans Am and if you have made them fit can you post pictures it finished so I can see how it looks? I am debating trying to make them fit or selling them.

How wide a wheel will you use? I have Hoosier QTP 27x11.5x15 on a 15x10 wheel and I had to cut off the bump stops and some of the inner fender well behind them. Also a good bit of BFH from the bump stop forward so the tires would fit. I had to install control arms and panhard bar to center things. As an end result I only have about 1/2" clearance on the inside of the tires.
