Car looks damn good . Looking at the specs on those front tires , they are only 22lbs a peice compared to 28lbs for a 275/40/17 . Thats a savings of 12lbs of rolling mass off the front just with the tires .

A 17x9 cast WS6 wheel weighs 20.5lbs a peice , those 17x7 only weigh 17lbs a peice .

Another 7lbs of rolling mass savings on just the front rims .

Total thats 19lbs of rolling mass off the front end from stock .

I have read that for every pound of rolling mass reduced is equal to removing 4lbs of static weight off the car .

19 x 4 = 76 , Other words the car will feel like it had 76lbs removed off the frontend .

look good man. ya did you get weights of the wheels before or after the new tires? just for comparisons sake to my bogarts. i gotta go find my weights now. i know my front rims are 8" wide and my continentals are 23# each

Ya and a general uhp in 215 45 17 comes in at 18lbs so there is another 4lbs per tire

like a dumbass i sure didnt. i'm pretty sure the post above was spot on for the 17x7's though.

There not mine there for a lighting I found them on anther forum. I will be doing this when I get mine I wll prob be ordering them in the next week or 2 and it will be a little longer before there painted

Damn just think how much I would save switching from my heavy *** 17x10 smoothies!!

I agree, these do look good... Did you paint or powdercoat them? Won't the lug nuts tear up the finish when you mount them?

There not mine. They are for a Ford lighting. I don't have my set yet I waiting on the invoice for a set of fronts and then I have to wait for the money for a narrowed fab9 and the rears
