Default 97 WS6 wheel choices

Thinking about some new wheels for my black 97 ws6 since the stock chrome is pealing pretty bad. Ive seen enough zr1s, and i think that they belong on the camaros. Anything else though, feel free to post it up. Thanks guys

tt2?

You need something with a deep lip, the new zr1s lack that.

Are you looking for a 5 spoke design,17s or 18s, big or little lips, color preference or chrome again?

The stock WS6 wheels that you and I have are polished aluminum with a clear coat on top. Just a cheaper option if you like the wheels enough would be to strip the clear coat off. After you do that you just polish the rims and they appear to be chrome. It demands up keep without the clear coat on but if you do a search on here they look fantastic when done. Just another option for ya.

Depends on the look your going for, for black T/A's going from one end of the scale to the other I like OEM C6 rims or TTII. I have 17" ROH ZR6 firehawk rims, the ROH DriftR's in sig and a set of 18/19 Polished OEM C6's that I have yet to put on. I might be developing a problem?
Here's a link to the vette rims that got me interested. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...check-out.html

yeah ive read that article on lt1engine.com like 10 times and it seems straightforward enough. I LOVE my ws6 wheels bu like i said, they are flaking.

Just how bad is the upkeep? is it possible to strip the finish, polish them and then clearcoat? Or would that look even worse?
