very happy with my oewheels, seem like good quality for the money at least. even though i had some minor (probably very rare) issues with ordering:
There was a mix up when I ordered, I gave a part number and then I was told they were on backorder, but I went ahead and put my order through anyway. Called a month or so later and they still didnt have them in stock. But while i was talking to them i figured out that they had the wheels mixed up with a similar kind. so i waited over a month for no reason! they actually had the wheels i wanted all along. oh well.
Then:
2 of mine were damaged(gashes on the outer lip) when i got them in, and they were willing to replace them, after i sent pics at least. however i didn't have 300 bucks in my account for the deposit on the new wheels (would be reimbursed once they got the damaged ones back) so i wound up having to pay to have them fixed(100 bucks). doh!
i would recommend to be very clear when ordering and possibly have them make sure they visually inspect your wheels before shipment because i dont think they ever unpack them once they get them from overseas.
nonetheless, very great value.

I just wanted to update on my previous post. I received the outstanding wheel on Monday this week, with no shipping fees, brokerage, etc due. UPS even called me before hand to say that I had a delivery coming, free of charge, within 48 hours. I don't even think that OE Wheels had received the incorrect wheel at that time, so they must have shipped the replacement out on good faith. All told, the mix up cost me nothing but a few days (less than the two weeks I predicted) and I'm very pleased with the wheels now that they're on the car.

however, the damage on my wheels could not have been caused by UPS. The packages were in great shape, all the foam and wheel protectors were in perfect place. Something would really have had to WHACK the wheel to cause that. I highly doubt this could have been caused in box. It would have damaged the box really bad if it did THAT to the wheel. So it had to of happened before packaging.
What country are the wheels produced in?

I've had same thing happened to my wheels in the past and luckly I purchased the shipping insurance
and UPS replaced the damaged wheels.

makes sense! but i wonder why there were no damages to the boxes? i figured there would be a pretty big crushed part and or hole if it were to hit hard enough to do this to the rim right?
But theres NO telling how rough they are with them.
Probably pretty common when shipping rims then? anybody else have something like this happen like this?

We have caught UPS representatives in the act of slamming our boxes onto that angled shelf, and it has caused that exact damage. This is the reason we started offering insurance to our customers. UPS refuses to compensate for these types of damages. That's why OE Wheels give UPS the treatment from time to time! ![Punch](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_punch.gif)
