whats the biggest tire i can fit on stock 16 in rims i got a 95 z28 with the stock 16 inch salad shooter rims on it
i was wondering what is the widest tire i can put on those rims as well as the tallest size
so the biggest tire i can put on stock 16in rims
i was also wondering if 02 17 in SS would fit right on no problem

Widest recommended is a 255/50/16
The 02 wheels will require a little "clearancing" where the axle hub goes into the wheel. The center hub is slightly larger on the LT1 cars. I had to do it when I put my 02 CETA wheels on my 94 Z28

I ran 255/50/16 Dunlop Sp5000's on my car when it was newer. Best all around tire I've ever had on the car! Checked Dunlop's website, apparently you can't buy them any more.
