Reverse Barrel Wheel??

Well if you have a reverse barrel wheel it automatically means it will need to be reverse mount. After several hrs of searching the net I've found a Reverse barrel wheel will totally change the look of the wheel (lip wise) but should not affect the fitment.

I believe you a refering to a wheel with ample negative offset creating a very deep dish look. In the late 80's and early 90's, it was real popular especially on lowered pick up trucks. I saw lots of them from brands like Eagle, Ultra and KMC.

Yes, basically I have the option of turning my TT2's into a completely "Flat lip" rather then the "Stepped Lip" they normally come with but they say the only way to do that is reverse the barrel and I was just wondering if I would run into clearance issues with the brakes.
But going off what I've read about reverse barrels the clearance should be fine. I guess I will find out in 6-8 weeks if it will have a completely flat lip and cause issues with fitment.

i think your talking about reverse drop. traditional tires are mounted with the face of the wheel up, reverse drop is with the face down and you mount the tire on the wheel.. shouldnt affect the way the wheel fits

most custom wheels are reverse drop. They do this so the wheel looks better. They probably dont do this with the TT2's because they are a factory mustang wheel. LOL. The reverse drop really makes the wheels look better and makes them look bigger in diameter also.
