Relative traction, DR, slick, etc?
The reason is that I am putting S2 heads and 232 cam in over the winter, and it is spinning 315 Nittos to a 12.54/113 now, so I know I am going to need new tires and am trying to get a feel for what I have to get. I find it hard to believe that I need 11.5" slicks - 30 years ago I was running 10.20/125 on 8" Racemasters.
ET Streets are a big jump over drag radials. They don't hook nearly as good as slicks though. For a heads/cam car in the 11s, ET Streets would be just fine and help out with launch consistency. Cars in the 10s really need a true slick to remain consistent off the line.

Yes, I cook the Nittos another 7 sec or so after first smoke.
Do you prefer ET Streets to Hoosier QTPs? Those maybe be DOT, but they all look like death in the rain - definately sunny weather tires.
