problem with 18 inch rebel rims I have a set of american racing rebel rims and all throughout the rim the chrome peeled off and is not smooth at all. I am thinking salt from the last winter or 2 damaged the rim, is there any way to fix this problem that is not extremely expensive or do I just have to replace the rims.

if you have a chrome shop around you, you can take them there and get them rechromed... not sure how expensive it would be... but probably cheaper than getting new rims

i didnt drive them in the snow...i was shipped out to iraq...and the car was outside through the winter with a cover on it....dont have a garage.........
