Default MT ET Street Radials

Ok, not sure what size MT ET Street Radial to go with. Car is driven often, but not worried about rain and etc. Car made 620 crank, not sure about whp but its through a TH400 with 2500 tq converter and 12 bolt

Rim is 15x10

325 50r15 or 315 60r15? Other?

I have air shocks in the back so i can fit it I think.

Any opinion welcome! Thanks,

-Mike

What rear end gear are you running? What RPM do you spin the motor to? What's the backspace on the wheels? Is it for the 2nd gen in your sig?

Oh and by the way, it's going to be a pain to fit a big tire with air shocks, because they are so big. My tires wouldn't even go on, until I put some Comp Engineering drag shocks on the car. I ran 315/60R/15's (30" tall tire) on my 72 Camaro, on a 15x8 rim, but to fit a tire like that, your springs better be re-arched, fender lips rolled, and you better have a lot of gear, and spin the motor hard.

With that kind of gear ratio and RPM, you're probably going to want to stick with a 26" tall tire. Does it see the track alot or is it more of a street car? If you're just building a cruiser, it doesn't really matter, and 28s will probably look cooler.

Its mostly a street car, looking for traction on the street as well as figuring it will look bad ***.

Ive yet to take it to the track, plan to once I get DRs and a harness.

Thanks for your help

275/50/15 would probably be best for your gearing and RPM.

These are 315/60/15s on my old wheels. 15x8 3.5 backspace.

This summer I'm running the same tire, and using a 4.88 gear, TH400, 5000 stall, and spinning to 7200.

Thanks! Not really too many action pictures yet. I had a fire with the car two years ago, it almost burnt to the ground. It's slowly coming back together now. Just got the motor/trans back in last week. I have to order the new front fenders, hood, front end, and have the 9" built for it, and have the 12pt done, and it will be ready to go.

Pre fire:

After fire:
