Default How do the MT ET Street Radial 1 and 2s compare?

They look like the compound is the same and the tire softness is too.

Anyone been able to compare them yet?

I think I'd rather run the 295/50/16 instead of the 255/50/16.

Those are the exact same radial, same compound, slightly different tread. 315mm+ get the street tire type tread, and sub 315mm get the curved grooves on each side.

They say they're the same rubber, but my 2's I have now (315/35/17s) feel a bit harder than the series 1's (275/50/15s) I had in the past. The 2s are definitely more rain friendly as they have more of a true tread pattern.
