I've had the CCWs and Fikses (different white Zs). I liked the Fikses

Out of those, I'd pick the SP500s, but I am biased. With the CCWs, I tend to lean towards SP500s on Camaros, and the 505a's on Trans Ams/Firebirds.

Fikse also makes a very nice wheel that I think looks very nice - for me, the CCW lip design appealed to me more since they give the wheel a deep dish look, and basically make the wheel look bigger than it actually is. The Fikse rims use a stepped lip, and that just wasn't what I was going for.

As for upkeep - if you are going to daily drive any polished aluminum rim, think really hard about it before you pull the trigger. I couldn't keep up with the rims when my Camaro was a daily driver - I actually went back to daily driving it on the stock chrome ZR-1s just so I didn't have to stare at fugly, stained wheels all the time. Now that it is a garage queen (it only comes out if the roads are dry and no salt), the upkeep is no problem. The brake dust washes right off, and life is good.

Sorry to keep you waiting. I've been thinking about the upkeed alot like everyone is saying so thats been the debate. I think I'm gonna save a little more money and try and get the fikse wheels. I just bought a procharger so I gotta get everything for it squared away right now. Thanks for all the replys and all the pics. I think im gonna go with the fm5s though (the pic of the black ss pretty much sold me). Maybe i can find a used set for a reasonable price in the right size. Thanks again guys

Any time...I've got some more great ideas for how to spend your money, but the parts would be going on my car this time...

I don't think I'll be buying anything for my car for awhile. I get my car back either Wed. or Thurs. most likely. I had a couple buddies install AFR heads, Comp Cam, Ported FAST 92/92, FTP 85mm Lid, Z06 MAF, 42# fuel injectors, SLP underdrive pulley, Yank 3800 stall converter, shift kit, tranny cooler, and the list keeps on going on and on.
