Default Powdercoat rims
I am just thinking about powdercoating then glossing my rims black... i have a 02 ss with the stock rims. Does anyone have any pics of what it would look like or have done this to their car? Any help would be great thanks!

I got my rims "black Chromed" It's really similar to powdercoating.

I don't have a ss, I had them done on a Audi S5. Here are a few pics for you.

the guy that does them has a site. I can't remember what it is off the top of my head. If you want PM me and I'll give you his name and contact info.

It's a SIC job!!

They look a LOT better in person, but the pictures make them still look good.

It's hard to explain. They are really cool and grab colors. Got a Ton of compliments in LA this weekend on them.

and you can send him your rims and he sends him back.

Thanks! And no, i dont know any places other than in the greater LA area. I've got an awesome guy here in Hollywood, though.

The place that i went to charged me about $80 a wheel... its expensive but when you think about how expensive black rims are then they seem cheap haha
