245/45/17 front
275/35/18 rear
If you want a slightly taller tire (~26") go with
255/45/17 front
285/35/18 rear
The latter is what I went with for my 2000 vette rims. (17x8.5 - 18x9.5)
Went with a slightly wider setup because I am known for dragging my tires against curbs and wanted to avoid rim damage.

[QUOTE=StuntmanMike;11537955]I've only got a couple of hundred miles on my General Exclaim UHP's. I haven't been to the track with them, but the traction on the street is VERY good. Some of the reviews mention that the sidewall might be a little soft, and I found out what they meant this past weekend. On hard cornering, they almost feel like they're low on pressure...I double checked them after I got back and the pressure's (36 Lbs.) were still good. It was just a little unsettling since this was the first time it'd happened, but now I know how they feel, it's fine.

I just put firestone firehawk wide ovals on my car. I have driven it a few time and they seem to hook pretty well. I was between nittos, bfg and these. I dropped the nittos after reading how fast people go through them and I ended up getting a better deal on the wideovals.
