nittos I have a few questions. I am not a real avid drag racer but i probably go to the track once a month. I am going to be buying 18 by 9.5 c5 wheels and i want to buy some nitto 555r's. Where is the best place to buy nittos and will i have any problem fitting 305/45/18 on my 95 z?

I'm curious about this too. Those seem like wide tires with alot of sidewall. I don't really think they will work too well. Todd, if your reading this, is there anyhting else on the same level of performance that will work on the 18x9.5 wheel?

18" wheels will cause your car to spin the rear tires easier dou to the stiffness of the tire that fits it. The less sidewall you have the stiffer the tire. This equals less grip on launching and drag racing.

I am about to put the car in for the winter and have been thinking about a wheel and tire combo for next spring. I was wondering what u feel about this combo?
front: boyd coddington smoothie II 17 x 8.5
Nitto 555r 245/45r-17
back: boyd coddington smoothie II 17 x 10.5
Nitto 555r 315/35r-17
Any suggestions or feedback about fitment is much appreciated
