Default Whats the smallest tire up front on a 17x9?

Next time it's tire buying time, I'm going to get some 275/40/17 Nitto drag radials for the back tires, and I'm wanting something a bit skinnier than 275/40 up front since I will be losing the ability to rotate my tires anyways. I want to maintain the same height as stock, just get something a little less wide with a little less rolling resistance. Thanks for any help.

245/45/17 will fit, I ride that size for winter tires.
