A street pair of tires aren't too bad really, I have found some decent deals on ebay of all places. Again, only my opinion but a 18/19 combo with the same profile tire. I assume you are searching for chrome, correct? BTW - I have seem to have become nocturnal from my late night work hours.... I have an excuse, but hey give me a call real quick if ya can. I have a quick question for ya concerning Aug. 22nd.

I think they would look good in a 19 in the rear. But tire choices are slim, and expensive. I will wait and see when they do come out in the 19's and make my decision then I guess.
No problem . Honestly, I have no clue if they will. The company is odd. They say they have all of these different products but when you go there and talk to them they don't.

Actually, I tried ordering from another company that then found out they didn't have what I wanted. In the meantime, I found out this company was the actual source.

Just to get these rims on my car I...

Became a vendor...

Drove from 8:00am until 4:00pm Monday (various reasons, all rims related)...

Ended up buying 2 Grey 18 fronts and 2 Black 18 backs that I had to have painted to color match the fronts (they didn't have the 19's, didn't have the 18x9.5s in grey, only had 3 blacks, only had 2 8.5" greys, etc...)...

Just picked those up today (matched PERFECTLY) and will mount tomorrow...

So, I've been trying to buy what I wanted since two weeks ago, finally had to go get whatever I could and make it work just to be the first spurred on by the fact it seems when it comes to the stuff in 56mm offset they just carry what they decide to carry and after that who knows when they'll get more.

Hard to explain but it was really odd on Monday. I was there for about 2 hours before I figured out a plan so that I could make this happen (I had driven out there after being told he had 8 grey spyders in 18"x9.5" for me to pick up only to find out they didn't have any at all)...

Hey mark, I am going to shoot you a PM on some info I got from another company a little over 2 months ago. Hopefully it will ease the purchase of these wheels for future buyers.

how big of a tire can you fit on the 18x9.5? I'm pretty used to my 315's.

275 is the right width for a 9.5 inch rim. It is the minimum width for a 285.

Thanks. So 285 is ok. What about a 295? Do they even make that width for a 18?

You could probably find someone to squeeze it on but it will be less than ideal. If you take a look at tire size chart for common performance tires you will notice that a 295 is supposed to be on a 10.5" wide rim, and the minimum recommended is 10." They don't make these charts to fool people, the performance and safety of the tire isn't up to par on the wrong rim.
