It would appear so for those of us who routinely get the tires up into the fenders.

Strano indicated that the rear axle moves laterally far less with the Watts link vs. PHB, which would help maintain clearance, once you get them to fit...

I had c6 Z06 wheels on my TA. I got a sledge hammer and banged my wheel wells. I also got my fender cut. I regret doing it, but it looked damn sexy.

I just put C6 Z06 replicas on mine 18x10.5 w/ 58mm backspacing fits great......they cleared with my 315 Pirelli's but I made a little extra room to be safe and no rubbing even in high speed turns with a sagging suspension. I don't know if this helps at all but I thought I'd post up some info anyways.......Anyone know was OEM backspacing is?

10.5 all the way around? Did you need to use spacers for the fronts?

They are nice and tucked! That's with eibach drag-launch springs, too.

Wow.. that really looks like the size that should have been on there from the start!

Talk about an OEM fitment!

Perfect driveability for him. He does corner hard sometimes, but like I said, it is mostly a drag set-up suspension so he doesn't really flog it around too much. My 315's rubbed on my 97 Z28 as I slung it around corners, but I kept the EXACT set of wheels for my SS and my 315's don't touch anything anytime now. Just supports the every-car-is-different theory.

That's because he does. He got those tires for $80 a piece. Both are Michelin Pilot Sports, just different treads. I'd rock mis-matched tread for that cheap.
