19x10 in the front 56/79mm offset 19x12 in rear 59mm what to make it fit
I am looking at the 09 Z06 Spyder wheels and am torn between the 18s or 19s in the above widths and offsets. Those are my choices, what would it take to make the rears fit and what offset would be best in the front. What size tires would be the best for me to run? I wanted 17x9.5s and 17x11s with 275/40 and 315/35 but I like the spyder wheels alot. I am not above tubbing the back or mini tubbing it if I deside to run these rear wheels. I read the sticky but before I spent the money I wanted to make 100% sure. I would like to run something like a 275/35/19 in the front and like a 325/30 if possible. I think that would look killer if it will fit. If it is too much trouble I will go to plan B

Nevermind I clicked on your link and saw it. So with a 79mm offset you needed a 1.25 spacer. I wonder what I would need with a 56mm offset. I expect with the 12 in the back I would need to shorten the rear and mini tub it but the more I think about it the more I am thinking those wheels might not be the wheels for me. I would like to have a wheel with a lip especially if I am going to the trouble of ordering a narrowed rear and tubbing the car and the Spyder wheels don't have any lip and I am not sure would fit the dirrection I am going with the car. I did however find some other wheels but they are only made in a 9.5 as the widest width so I would run a 8.5 in the front and a 9.5 in the rear, I really wanted wider but I like the style of the wheel. They look alot like the Fikse, who or what would it take to have these wheels widened maybe an inch or 1.5 to make them 11s? Would it even be worth it? I just really like the way the F bodies look with alot of rubber shoved under the back and with these I would only run a 285

Yes, 1.25" spacers on a 10" wide wheel with 79mm offset. Firebird's look a little better with 1.5" spacers. The IDEAL 19" tire to keep the stock height is 285/30/19.
I decided I wanted to step down to 18" rims, so the 19" C6's are sold and I'm running chrome C5 Z06 18x9.5 rims now...

I have 19x10 79mm OEM C6s on the front of my FORMULA, with 295/30s. Had to move/manipulate the front portion of the plastic inner fenderwell. Cut my front springs, lowering front about 3/4"-1", so I went with only a 1.00" spacer/adapter because of the larger tire. But this is on a Firebird, and they say the fenders are slightly wider/bulged? The 1.00" adapter does expose the original studs/nuts, but the OEM GM wheels have recessed cavitys between lug holes, so I didn't have to grind them down.
I have yet to drive the car (still finishing a couple mods), but do NOT expect any troubles with my fronts. More concerned with my rears-- 19x10 79mm w/1.50" adapters, 305 tires, lowered 1"+.
