OG- The chrome lip you got there, is that an option on the hypersilver ones too or what. Id like the get that same finish on the lip, but just a silver face.

the black finish came with the option for chrome or machined lip.

at the places i shopped, the silver face only comes with the machined lip option (see post #25).

That looks really good. I think with a black wheel, you HAVE to go larger to not make the wheel look "small".. and the chrome lip prevents it from that batmobile-wannabe look, which some like, but I can't stand.

To your eye, does the lip on the wheels really "pop" when you look at it, or is it subdued a little because of the black wheel?

Alchemist - I thought your wheels were the $$ CCWs! I really want a mesh wheels, but the lazy man in me says cleaning the split 5-spokes are MUCH easier.

Nope, current ones are Ruff 278s, old ones were HP evo's. I debated and debated on getting a set of CCW's or HRE's, but decided to go with the Ruff's and a lift instead.

To 99.9% of the people out there, they look the same, and having the lift is great for storing the car in the winter, and makes oil changes, and exhaust work a breeze.

car looks good, i was always a black on black fan with larger wheels. i went different with the set currently on my car. they are forge grey (match interior) and i also have "custom caps" the wheels are actually listed for sale, but looking at yours kind of makes me want to keep them.

The lip definitely pops.....maybe a little too much for my taste, particulary from the front/back view. Due to the depth of the lip, it looks like a chrome wheel until you get about a 30 degree viewing angle. I would have preferred a machined lip, but I had been waiting for over 6 mos due to back order and finally gave up and got chrome which my wife prefers anyway

Keep your wheels. They look great. I acutally like the shape of your spokes better than the Evo/505 spokes.

Where did you get the caps? They look exactly like OE...very nice!
