However, I DID get BUSTED seveal years ago. I ordered a set of long tube headers without saying anything. One Sat. afternoon, we were in a rush to get out to go to lunch or something, and I accidentally locked the keys in the house. Just as we realized we couldn't get in, FedEx pulls up and brings me my new headers while we're sitting on the front porch locked out of the house...talk about BAD timing! That really didn't go over too well

Post up pics when you actually get them on!
Sucks for you!!! Whenever I order something for my rides either I have it shipped to work or my brothers house and I wait a while to install it if its not flashy. Another thing you can due is have a secret package of $$$ or seperate car fund thats what I due.

The rarest the 96-97 SS. Which I own #166 of 97 SS which I did not know they had a different interior from 96-97 completely different which I like the digital speedo better and nicer seats and console on 97 but in my mind when I bought the my SS I thought I was getting your interior of the 96 oh well. But for sure they are both collectables since you rarely see lt1 ss or ws6 u will see a boat load of ls1's.

I like your wheels very nice and love the cme exhaust. What # SS due you have and what due you use on your paint ???wax that is????? How many miles on the body of your SS????? congrats on your new wheels much better than the c6's!!!!

Mine is #1519 as u could see in the pictures. They made around a 1000 extra SSs in 97 compared to 96.

I use nothing on the paint, it's still factory paint. My SS has 56k original miles, it gets out only on nice weekends from the begining of June till late September or so. Engine is currently being bored .60 over (388) and will be back in the car this coming winter.

Thanks for the compliments.

With 18x10.5 you don't have much choices of brand name. No Sumitomo **** on my car man.

I missed your number in your sig. You don't use any wax or polish??? My 97 is bone stock no mods whats so ever. Your SS is sharp make sure you keep all your stock parts to keep that value up if you ever sell it. Just an fyi the 99 ws6 anniv white/blue have a numbered badge in the interior also.

Good info, thanks a lot. .Never used any wax or polish on her yet. Car is always garaged and covered when not drivven. I have every single stock piece for future sale, I just can't see it happening .

Thanks for the advice brother, it's too late now . By the way, she got what she wanted so we're both happy now. My next mod is Konis and Springs, we'll see what happens then, I'll keep you guys posted.

we've sold out of this wheel several times and we don't even have the photograph on our website yet. It's the C5 Deep Dish in Black with a Machined Face. If you guys want a set, just give our sales staff a call at 1-866-273-3651. We have several sizing options available.
