I run the 555R2 on my Z06 275-40-17 and 305-18s...I think they are a great tire especially when they are warmed up,i believe the rubber is the same as the DR,but a stiffer sidewall for handling so you get the best of both worlds

I haven't ran it the track but... I do mess around on the street,seems that the compound is the same as the drag radial but on the 555r2 the sidewall is stiffer for handling, seems to do a pretty good job at both as far as milage it's all in how they are abused... They hook up very well when warmed up, I have autocrossed with them and they also work pretty well there, all in all pretty good tire.. Oh yeah I believe the tread depth is very low compared to most normal tires, I have about 10k miles on mine, the fronts are still ok but the rears not so much.1 other thing is I don't trust them in the rain, kinds sketchy feeling, probly due to the tread depth
