Best method to clean chrome rims?

Best method to clean chrome rims?

Basically what the title stats...i finally have to chrome salad shooters and want to get them nice and shining before i put them on....any advice?

glass cleaner is what i use to maintain the cleanliness and about once a month i polish them with some mothers mag polish

Okay thanks someone told me glass cleaner and I thought he was joking, guess not.
The inside of the rim seems to have oxidation, will mother help clean that up?

Be careful with glass cleaner. Ammonia is bad for chrome. I would make sure it doesn't have any in it, or just use soap and water with an occasional chrome cleaner/polish if you must. Then put a coat of wax/sealant on them.

Simple car wash soap, like Mequires gold class is perfectly fine for chrome. FYI, you don't polish chrome either. It's either good, or it isn't.

This is important to note. Regular wheel polishes can damage chrome because they are abrasive. What is sold as chrome "polish" is really a cleaner that is supposed to clean stains or minor pitting (it won't remove pitting). The best way to keep chrome clean is to never let it get to the point where it is damaged. It's all about preventative maintenance.
