Default 275/40/17 on 17x11 wheel?

im looking to trade my 17x9.5 TTII's in for a pair of 17x11s in the back. Was wondering if my 275/40/17 tires would fit until I get enough money to put a pair of 315s on? Thanks!

Most manufacturers list a 275/40/17 with a 9" wide up to a 11" wide wheel. So yeah you can do it, but until you put the 315/35/17s on be very careful with parking close to any curbs!

Yep. Per manufacturer rec's it is fine. It's gonna look funny, but is it safe and OK to do.

While you waiting for the 315's you should go ahead a clearance the inner fender and bump stop assembly.
