Default Will these fit my salad shooters 16X8?
I have some tires that are 275/40/17. Will rim that are 16X8 be able to fit on these tires?

No those rims are for a 17 inch rim. That's what the last number in the tire size is for

no. stick with a 235/55/16 or a 245/50/16

The tire will fit over that rim no problem, actually you'll have room to spare. About a 1/2" at any given point. Just don't expect them to hold air.
