Default Black wheels

im looking for some black wheels for my firebird.

i found these that i really like the look of, and i thought the price was fair.

however i just wondered if there are some out there that look the same but are cheaper or is this the best i can do?

Looks like truck wheels, but if you get them in 20's you will get them for 111 a piece! Get black c6's they look badass!

How are you supposed to hook up on these wheels when you are wanting a fast car? These wheels are gonna ride like crap and not hook at all. I vote for some chrome zr1s. Green and black don't look good together. Those are nice wheels but not for your car. Here... this thread will help you out.

all i know is it says they fit my car, they look nice, the price isnt to bad.

just didnt know if there were similar looking wheels for a better price.

why is 245 small?

black looks good on black, but not green? pretty sure it only matters what i think.

now as far as hooking, yes i want to hook but i would like to have nice looking as well.

why will they ride like crap? why would they sell them?

245s are tiny. At least get a 9.5" wheel and run 275s.

Black ZR1's would look fine.. You can do 17x9.5 with 275's.. I would 17x11 rears with a 315 but you may have fitment issues and it sounds like you don't want to mess with that.

245s are very small. They belong on a civic. The larger the wheel, the less thick the sidewall of the tires are and they are going to ride rough. To me, it's hard to make black wheels on green cars look good. I think those black zr1s would look good on your car. That are 17s which will give you a bigger tire which is going to ride better and they are wider which is going to give you more tire to the pavement which is going to help a lot with traction. which which which lol. I think in the long run, you will a lot happier with some zr1s or something. And i'm pretty sure it matters a little bit what we think or else you wouldn't of made this thread. Well that's my .2 cents. Good luck.

the more traction the better, but if im going 17x11 it would cost more money all around. those wheels, tires, adjustable panhard bar to center my rear end, etc.

though for $50 more its not bad to get the 17x11 for the rear, fitment issues would suck, but i bet i would love spinning just first then gone!

but at the minimum the 17x9.5 wheels with 275s are at least ok?

thanks for the website lance, i thought i found all the wheel sponsors on the side, guess not! ill have a look

@BlkBird2000 your opinion on if the wheels look good are not important to me. the original question was if it was a good deal for the ones i chose, or if there was a better deal for similar looking wheels. i was informed those would only run 245s which are not very good. thats what i wanted. i dont care if im the only guy with black wheels on a green car, it looks sexy to me, thats all i care.

You can get away with 17x11s with 315s in the back without a panhard bar. Lowered cars need panhard bars to re center the rear after lowering.

Ya, when u have never bought something before, u generally do not know the price range on them.

I thought that a really fair price, but someone told me it was a little high, so i asked.

Dont need stupid replies, i need helpful ones.

"$111 per wheel is actually a cheap deal."

Well lets be serious and mature about this.

how is "Better than $111 each......Are you SERIOUS?????" helpful?

maybe im having a bad day or two but i dont see where its helpful

especially when they are not even that price. i can buy 1-2 20inch for 111, but they only have 1-2 in the 20 inch which is why its discounted.
