? about staggered tire fitments..
Wondering if anyone had any good inputs for a 17 up front, 18 in the back setup? Im more or less worried about the height of the tire, I dont want to make it look like the front is bigger than the back..

? What you want seems to me to be the total opposite of what staggering actually means. You want staggered but dont want to be able to tell a difference? Id go with the same size wheel all the way around then. Take it from someone who had staggered, I regretted it.

Actually, what im not trying to do is get it looking like an import drag car with the front tire looking bigger than the rear. I was thinking maybe a 40 series in the rear with a 35 up front or something similar..

Most important is to get tires with the same or similar OD . . .
So for example . . . a 275/40R17 and a 275/35R18 have the same OD . . .
A 245/45R17 and a 275/40R17 have the same OD . . .
A 275/40R17 and a 295/35R18 have a similar OD's . . .
But if you want a 17" wheel up front and a 18" wheel out back, the sidewall of the front tire is going to need to be taller than the rear, no getting around it . . Is the difference big? . . no . . but I personally don't like it thus why I run 18" wheel on all four corners.
