Black. Was just going to powder coat my rims black but another local guy already did that. So this is a great back up plan.

What size tires is everyone running? 275/35/18 fronts and a 295/??/18 or a 315/??/18. Also what brand of tires are you running? Just wondering so I can try and find the lowest prices.

I'll be running 275/35-18's up front and 295/35-18's in the rear. They will be BFG KDW2's.
I want to eventually put KDW2's in 335's on the rear, but I didn't want to have to do all the hammering techniques right now.

I had to hammer the inside of my driver side fender well because I'm lowered without an adjustable panhard bar.. I have ARP studs and 5/16" spacers on the way, and soon to have a UMI adjustable PHB.. and then I might have to roll my fenders, but it will be all worth it for the look/stance

I am on Stano's and koni 4/4's. I was looking to find a good 315 street tire for the rears. With a 315 would a 30 or 35 sidewall be better?

I'm on stranos and 4/3's so I don't feel like getting a huge tire in the rear then having to hammer the fenders and the roll them and shave the bumpstops/remove them and blah, blah, blah! I'll be good with the 295's.

Especially on your bill when you're replacing them every 3,000 miles with your oil

I like the 35 with an 18"..but the 30 seems more common with the 305+ widths. Tires are limited too as soon as you go past 295...and pricey

By the time my car is driven another 3000 miles, it'll be almost time to replace them regardless. I drive my car 60 miles a month, tops.

AND I have a set of DD ZR1s with DRs and cheap *** Nexen tires up front. So I'm pretty much set on tires for a while...

Ok it's still not high-res, but it's daytime decent camera phone shots. I need a good camera.

Looks damn good man. Now you got me thinking about getting these rims instead.

Tell me something:
If was thinking of getting the C6 Z06 replicas. 17 x 9.5 fronts....18 x 10.5 rears. Maybe even havin the two rears widened to 11.5" so I can run 335's.

Is there anything wrong with doing that? 17 front..18 rear? I mean does the difference (look-wise) in the two tires profiles stand out like a sore thumb. Or does it look just fine that way?

.

To me it does..i prefer the same size wheels. Now when you step up to a 19/18 setup it still looks good. Its just that 40 series on a 17" wheel that looks too big..IMO

Yea, I think you're right. Your car looks friggin good with those rims. Are those 315 tires? I'll definitely do the 18's all around.

Now....C5 18's....with rivets or without??????? I like them both evenly........

Tires are 295's in the rear, 275's front. My vote is for without rivets, but thats up to you

315/35/18 Toyo Proxes TQ drag radial. They fit perfect on them! I reused my old Sumitomo 275's up front.
