How much is your car lowered? It looks good.

It has the Hal QA1 Adjustabel coilovers all the way around. Its lowered about 2 inches in the front and about 2.5 in the rear to get the *** end down on the 28" tires.

You said u used spacers on the back and ground the front calipers........

I thaught it was SAFER to use spacers on the front and GRIND the back b/c of the load applied when under accleration puts a pretty large load on the studs.

It looks good anyway! But I would put some stronger and longer studs on the rear!

I alreadt have the longer ARP Studs in the rear. I had spacers on the front but to me it looks really gay when you use spacers in the front because the tires tend to stick out a little. I like all of my stuff tucked under nice thats why I didnt use spacers on the fron. Made it look a TON better IMO. The back without the spacer is tucked in to tight for my liking. So I used a spacer on it and it is just right with the rear wheelwell.

so the 15x10s with a spacer fit the back with no grinding?

could i run a nitto DR on a rim like that?

and will the fronts fit with a spacer, no grinding?

or would it look really gay if i used an XP up front?

the rears need grinding either way.. just waay too much grinding without the spacer and just a regulaor (whole bunch) with the spacer

fronts dont need grinding at all with the spacer.

Yes you can run a drag radial on Prostars. If you want to run a nitto you'll need 15X8 though, not 15X10..there are some big BFG dr's that will fit a 15X10 or like a Sportsman would work. The 275/60/15 Nitto on a 15X8 is a nice combo..

I have 15x10 rears, no spacers.
I have 15x3 fronts, with a spacer.. How much grinding was it, and where was the grinding? It does look crappy.

After doing the rears first, the fronts are a piece of cake. Look at the calipers, there is a 90* "ridge" that has to be taken out and radiused....I think Tom the Roofer had some pics on his website of the fronts, thats what I used as a guide....

looks great, i LOVE how the rear sits! does the coil over allow for the car to be lowered? is this in conjunction with the lowering springs?

well i'm kinda weird i guess, i like the way it looks with the fronts sticking out a bit..my fronts have spacers, but still a little bit of grinding.

i'd rather have them stick out than take material off the calipers that handle most of the stopping power..

the fronts that you grind, you arent actually hurting the caliper itself. it doesnt mess with the application of how the brakes work. just shaving a thick part of the brake. otherwise no one would do it. ofcourse i just run a spacer and it works like a charm.

That black Z with Welds looks sweet (stupid). Are those wheels lighter than stock? My buddy swears by convo's, I just don't like the looks as much.
