Can somebody explain the function of a adjustable panhard rod ? Do they allow the rear axle to move laterally ? Is it safe to run just a single spacer on one side of car ?

allows you to center the rear under the car, usually needed after lowering.

I dont know if its unsafe, but its dumb as ****.

I think they used to make the gunmetal ones back in the day and discontinued them if I remember correctly. Scott, any possibilities of bringing them back? I would jump on a set real quick.

I would love a set of 4 17x11 gunmetal zr1s. I would really love them all black without a polished lip too. Oh and a c5 dd or c5z or c6z wheel in 17x11 would be the best thing ever

Seriously? If you read like 3 posts on this page, you would know what he is referring to.

+1

ZR1 in gun metal would look good.

i've got a set of black C5 17x9.5 deep dish wheels from oe...it would be AWESOME to get a pair in 17x11. they're available in 18x10.5 but not sure if i want to trade width for height...

i just swapped out a set of black 17x9.5, 17x11 zri's to black C6 18x10.5 on all four and i had thought the same thing about the height, but once they went on, i love them. they look alot better in person than any pic can portray. and they are OE Wheels.

Agreed. I had 17" ZR1s on prior to my 18" C5s and the new rims look so nice.

Unfortunately we will not be doing them in gunmetal again. just the chrome, silver, polished and black.

was there any fender rolling required to fit the 18x10.5 (front and rear)? my car is lowered so that is something to consider. for the 17x11s i would have to modify the bump stops...I'm assuming you needed to do the same to fit the 18x10.5, of course you may have already done that if you previously had 17x11s

I just read a post on this thread that you can run 315s on a 10.5in wide wheel...is that correct?

i track and autox the car so availability and tire size variety will matter...

thanks for the feedback...

no fender rolling or anything. they fit at all four like a glove. my car is lowered to and with the 11's i had to notch the inner fender a little. and yes you can run 315's on 10.5.
