I finally have the money to lock down some wheels. I want to do the black on black look for my VERT. Does anyone have - before and after pictures going from stock wheels to OE Wheels 18" C6 z06 9.5"?

Any fitment issues if i go to stranos or am i better off going with 17's?

Mine are 17x9.5 and I went from aluminum finish zr1's to these, I have before and afters in a thread I started in the appearance and detailing section, just ignore the red lip if you're gonna go all black LOL, thread is entitled got "new wheels and grill" maybe this will help a little

here's a quick pic of mine.. just bought 2 - 18x10.5's from OEwheels.. super fast shipping and great pricing.. quality is great except for a small amount behind the rim that wasnt hit with black paint.. but im sure it will be cvovered up with grease and dirt before too long.. lol. will def buy from again if i need to!!

nitto DR 305/35/18 took me weeks to figure out which tire and tire size to go with on a 10.5 rim.. After countless searches i went with the 305 over a 315.. i thought since nitto is rumored to run smaller than others i would be upset but ended up being very happy with them.. they are true to what the website says, 12.40 inches wide... my old car i ran BFG KDW's 295/35/18 and i am much happier with how the nittos look.. sorry for the added explanation

Let me first say that all credit for this set up goes to my friend Seth (scj) here. I've always been against black wheels but it seems I'm eating my words on this one.

They are the C5DD wheels done in all black with the C6Z center caps. The caps took some slight modification to fit but nothing major. They are 18x10.5 all around with Verdstein 295/35/18 front and Toyo 305/35/18 back.

Big thanks to Steve at OE wheels for the help on this one too.

Here you can see how much the fronts "poke" out. They may be out 1/4" over the 17x9.5's.
