This is kinda crappy lol just got the approval from the future wife to order some c5s. OE Scott is it just going to be first come first serve on the vett wheels or could I place order now to assure I will have a set for my z

we have to do it first come first serve when they come back in stock.

About two weeks I purchased some new wheels. Fronts are 17x9.5 (275) and backs are 18x10.5 (295). It will be lowered soon. Here's some pics!

You guys need to make some machined face center caps for the C5 machined face wheels. I would buy them right away if you did. I hate how my C5 DD came with a chrome center cap with the corvette emblem on them.

It is very difficult to do a machined face on a plastic center cap. we have yet to see it done correctly, that is why we do the chrome caps with them.

I would shoot the caps with a metalized paint and scuff it with a fine sandpaper or steel wool, semi gloss clear and wala!

That's a good idea. I'll have to experiment with some scrap plastic and paint when I get my wheels and see if I can get the finish to get close or not.

Make them out of metal then Or at least get some plain caps without the vette emblem on them.
